Javier Chapparo joins us on September 1st for First Friday at Patsy’s Cafe. Javier is world class and such a gentle soul. Megan Fleccus opens with her eclectic songs and sweet voice.
Laura Guli has been working on a musical for the last 18 years and it is phenomenal. She takes time out of her professional career to pursue her talents and she adds her spot on harmonies to Richard’s guitar and Scott Blesener on violin.
We had great fun with Abbe Waldeman. Her bluesy harp blended well with our swinging shuffle.

Thanks to Zane Baker for having us out to Sherwood Forest Faire and playing the first Sherwood Texas Music Festival! Delightful crowd and excellent crew made this an easy gig despite the typical festival challenges of load in, scheduling etc.

September’s First Thursday Songwriter’s Night was as memorable as they get with Rick Bussey, award winning songwriter and Jessica Shepherd, one of the sweetest, most powerful voices we have in Texas. Jessica answered a request she didn’t know, when I gave her my phone, she looked up the lyrics and belted out “Black Velvet.” What a performer!
